CLS Industrial Purification designs and manufactures custom-made absorbent technology systems.
One absorbent system goes into one reactor charge. One reactor charge is made up of several layers of variable zeolites. The cell shape and size distribution of each zeolite layer specifically removes the range of Cl and S species desired. The ratios between the layers and the actual cell size shape and distributions are changed within a 3- or 4-cycle period. This is necessary in order to achieve the system that optimally removes that specific cocktail of Cl or S species contained in the feed.
Each absorbent system is therefore specific to each reactor. Every reactor charge is like an individual and cannot be replicated for use in another reactor. CLS Industrial Purification does not make a family of products, but rather creates individual reactor loads, each with a unique "recipe."
Designing and producing our own material allows us to continually alter and improve these "recipes" to achieve optimal chloride balance for each reformer circuit.
